Albert Einstein once said, 'Genius is making complex ideas simple, not making simple ideas complex.' In life, we find ourselves trying to solve issues with complex answers but the answer is usually very simple. Even though the answer is simple does not mean the answer is easy. In fact, we probably interchange the words simple & easy and complex & hard in our vocabulary when, often times, they should not be.
My goal when working with my clients is to keep things simple. Again, simple does not always mean easy. Budgeting, saving toward goals, investing, etc... can be hard. Giving up some gratification today to reach a goal tomorrow is hard. Watching markets fluctuate and your money go up and down can be hard. These things don't have to be complex. In fact, they should be simple. Simple for me to explain and simple for you to understand.
