Procrastination -- a word that we all seem to know a lot about. As human beings we procrastinate on a lot of things. Some of us procrastinate getting out of bed to work out. Some of us procrastinate calling that loved one that you know you need to talk to. Some of us procrastinate with our finances. Most of us procrastinated with our school work. But what if there was no such thing as procrastination? What if there was only action?
All of us have that choice. We can choose to procrastinate and kick that can down the road, or we can choose to get the job done, whatever that job might be. All of us have at least one elephant on our shoulders that we are not taking action about. I challenge you to stop procrastinating and take action.
Get out of the bed right when the alarm rings so you don't have a chance to even second guess it. Take the time to pick up the phone and call that person you know you need to talk to. Spend 15 minutes every week talking about your finances with your spouse and loved ones that need to know. You see most of those things aren't that painful, but they are things we've built it up in our minds to make much more painful than they really have to be. It probably won't be easy, but it's far less painful than choking on the dust of regret.
